Sound & Vision

Together, Mike Reznick and Ross Pallone took Mike’s vision to open a professional studio and rehearsal space and turned it into a reality. It’s been a long, strange trip, or certainly sometimes feels like one. But come into Mikron and you’ll quickly see that Mike and Ross have created one of Southern California’s finest recording facilities. And we’re affordable, too.

Mike Reznick, Owner and Founder

Now aspiring to be a former trial lawyer, Mike Reznick grew up in Minneapolis and is a veteran of the Upper Midwest’s club scene. He toured with everything from a prog-rock band called Pegasus to a soul revue, not to mention working plenty of shifts as a short-order cook at a diner when he had to. Eventually Mike surrendered to late onset adulthood and entered law school. Over the years, law paid the bills but music has remained his passion. So for Mike, equal parts Deadhead and gearhead that he is, the launch of Mikron Studios represents a return to his roots.

Ross Pallone, Studio and Front of House Mixer

Veteran recording engineer Ross Pallone earned a Platinum Record for Prince’s Controversy, as well as a Gold Record with Michael McDonald, and an Emmy nomination for his work with John Tesh. An experienced studio and front of hall mixer, he has collaborated with a diverse group of leading artists: iconic actor and musician Jeff Bridges, Academy Award-winning film composer James Newton Howard, Earth Wind & Fire, Miley Cyrus, Chaka Kahn, and Alan Parsons. The House Band

Like the studio itself, Mikron’s almost famous, soon-to-be legendary House Band combines the best of the old (that would be Mike) with the new (everyone else in the band). As soulful as it is skilled and versatile, the House Band is available for recording sessions and live dates.
